How this stay-at-home mum stays sane and has fun one day at a time.

On yer bike

On yer bike
A stranger gave me an exercise bike last week through the magic of Facebook. In typical ‘me’ style, I didn’t think it through and picked up the bike full of excitement over doing at-home spin classes. Although the bike was new, it was cheap and hardly provided enough resistance for its (naïve) rider to break a sweat.

The upside of this silly situation? I discovered fantastic free workouts on YouTube, like the ones on the Global Cycling Network channel. The downside? Now I want a bloody bike which works!

So if you have an exercise bike gathering dust/piles of junk/family pets, why not check out the channel (an example is posted below) and you can breathe new life into your very expensive clotheshorse. As for me, I’m off to set up a saved search on Trade Me!
